GUTBUG
A downloadable game for Windows
GUTBUG is an action platformer were you play as a pill inside of a stomach fending off a virus.
GUTBUG was created as an entry for the Pirate Software 14 Game Jam, so expect it to be a bit rough around the edges. This is only a prototype, but with enough interest I would love to continue it's development.
CONTROLS:
A/D or Left/ Right Arrows - Movement
SPACEBAR - Jump
MOUSE MOVEMENT - Aim
LMB - Shoot
[CURRENT KNOWN ISSUES]
Player can sometimes get stuck on platform edgesShop sometimes appears before a wave is completed- No audio
- Hitboxes can be funky sometimes
The final wave can be beaten with no win condition showing, the game will continue on with more waves?

The pill is very cute :), i really like the art and the logo!
The game needs more feedback when you hit an enemy, it's hard to visualize how much damage you're dealing to it.
thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it! I would have loved to add some sort of small health bar or damage numbers to the enemies, but I left it too late and won't have the time to implement it
